Nickey, Jason, Ivey and Bonnie, I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Nick's passing. I was fortunate to have grown up next door to Nick and like my sisters, shared many good memories of visits at Nan's listening to the ghost stories Nick loved to share. He got such a laugh out of our reactions. Nan enjoyed it too. He was such a gentle soul who did make the best of what life threw his way. There is no doubt that you guys were deeply loved and he was so proud of you. I remember that it was Nick who went with me to help me look for my first car. It was spilling down rain and he spent the whole day going to dealerships on Kenmount Road. It just reminds me of his generousity and kind heart. He will be missed by many. Remember you have a big family and we are here for you.

I just want to say that your Dad was the best. He was a special Uncle of mine. I have very fond memories of him that go way back. He always made me feel special as a child and as an adult. He was always pleasant and he made the best of whatever life threw his way. He always played with us when we were young and at Nan's house. He tickled us, he told jokes, funny stories and his specialty was scary stories. We ran from Nan's house to our house more than one night after hearing one of his ghost stories. They were always so believable. He got such a charge from that. I loved him dearly and he will always have a special place in my heart. He was especially proud of his children, you brought him so much joy. Try to be happy, he is in a better place now. Love always, Connie
