Dear Ross, Tony and extended family, I am currently in Edmonton, visiting with cousin Charlie Vermeeren (Marjorie Barrett's son) and we were talking about our extended families. I was saddened to read about Anne's passing as we had only just discussed all our North Harbour family a few nights ago. Your Mom was always such a delight to visit and I remember many cups of tea served with her homemade bread and jam and wonderful chats with your Dad when my parents (Cyril and Frances Barrett) and I visited. I hope I will be back in time for the Memorial Service and in the meantime please accept my sincere condolances.
