Obituary of Stewart Glenn Miles

Miles, Stewart Glenn (1956-2011) It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stewart Miles, originally of Pool's Cove, Fortune Bay and long time resident of Hazelwood Home in Seal Cove, Conception Bay South, announce his passing on May 21st ,2011, at the age of 54 years. Predeceased by his parents, Wilfred and Gwendolyn Miles, and special grandparents William and Martha Miles. Stewart will be affectionately and lovingly remembered by his aunts: Laura Williams (St. Catharines, Ont), Grace Brushett (St. John's), Ruby Brew (Andrew) (Newbourgh, NY) and Marion Miles (Pool's Cove); caregiver and residents of Hazelwood Home (formerly Golden Elders); and a large circle of cousins, other relatives and friends. The family will be receiving visitors at the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday, May 23rd from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service to follow at the MacDermott Memorial United Church, Pool's Cove on Wednesday, May 25th. Interment in the United Cemetery, Pool's Cove. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the many caregivers who supported and looked after Stewart over the years. Those who loved and cared for him knew he was a special soul.
