I remember Val Druken fondly. Mr. Druken, “Sir”.... was my science teacher at Holy Spirit School in Manuels, many years ago. Farewell to a wonderful teacher, and a wonderful man. My condolences to his family as I’m sure he’ll be missed dearly.
As a secretary of Holy Spirt became a great friend of Val, and shared some very happy times. He taught my children and was a great teacher and a very knowledge guy, kind hearted and was always there to help. He will be missed. To Rona , Martin and Juanita as well as all family thoughts are with you.

My condolences to the Druken family. I was a student of the first graduating class of Holy Spirit in 1978 and had Mr. Druken teach me for several years. My memories of those days are great. Val was a long term member and leader of Holy Spirit Knights of Columbus. His devotion to the council and order was an example to all Knights. He will be greatly missed. Darrell E Long G K
This is a very special man that I and the staff of Tinys will miss immensely. He had such a dry sense of humour. He would come to Tinys for his coffee whenever he was over doing something at the Knights of Columbus. He would hide out on dart night hoping they had enough players so he did not have to fill in. He loved his family and spoke often of his wife Rona. A kind generous man who was very dedicated to family and community. Rest In Peace Mr Druken
