May of this year Aunt Ruth had her sisters (Aunt Gladys) daughter Maureen and husband Rob (from USA) stay with her. Aunt Ruth let me know that my first cousin Maureen whom I never met was coming to Newfoundland. We arranged a get together of the Parsons family at my house and Maureen got to meet several cousins, Aunts and Uncle Tim. Many stories were told, food shared, pictures taken and wonderful memories made. I was always interested in the Parsons family tree and Aunt Ruth was always there to share her knowledge and wonderful pictures of our family. Thank you Aunt Ruth for bringing us Parsons family together and for so many of us to meet our first cousin Maureen. The connection has been made to create a lifetime of memories for our family tree. Here’s a poem I found for you Aunt Ruth: “A limb has fallen from the family tree that says grieve not for me. Remember the Best times, the laughter , the song, the good life I lived while I was strong.” Rest in peace and give dad and my aunts and uncles a hug from me. Love Janice (Parsons) Locke, Jim, Jonathon and Jimmy & family
