To The Leonard Family,
We were so saddened to hear of Edward’s passing. He was a very good customer of ours for years and would always come in for his bucket of salt meat. He was a very kind man and we would love to have a chat with him and he loved talking about his truck, we won’t forget that. He will be greatly missed by us all. We hope the memories you have of him comfort you in the coming days ahead. Our deepest condolences to you all.

Margaret, condolences to your and your family. My mother(Ellen Leonard) wished to be remembered to you and said she will include Edward in her prayers. Lost of a sibling is not easy, but memories of past times can help us through present sad times. God bless

Mr. Leonard’s Family we were disheartened to read Mrs. Leonard had passed away a little over a week ago after she was laid to rest, now to read Mr. Leonard has also passed leaves quite an ache in our hearts.. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard were the best neighbours ever right from the time we had our first beloved Becky (our black lab) that Mr. Leonard would so dutifully let outside daily to do her business.. Mr. and Becky had a funny dog human relationship as, as often as he would come over and let her out - she still insisted on barking at him over our fence. All was good with this until one day Becky heard the garbage truck and it must have spooked her, she decided that she would go on a little excursion leaving poor old Mr and Mrs in a complete and utter frenzy. They both said ‘oh my God Rodney is going to be devastated Becky is gone.’ Thank God Becky came home just as Rod pulled in the driveway you could see the colour slowly coming back in Mr’s face.. Well after that, Becky must have said Mr. Leonard I quit I’m not going out for you anymore , you hung me out to dry and my humans got very upset with me , that was the end of that.
Another day poor Mr. Leonard was limping along as best he could in his beautiful back yard, I said Mr. Leonard did you take a fall, he said no Marilyn it must be arthritis or something I’m having an awful time getting around. I said Mr.Leonard have you ever takin Glucosamine Condriton and Sulfates, he said no what is it, I said well to be honest Becky has been on those for quite some time for her hips and after the anguish she caused you that day she went missing here take the bottle and try them out. Within a week or so I look out and see Mr. Leonard and he’s just a sailing across the yard, well he said Marilyn you saved me my legs are fixed!!
Mr. Leonard thank- you for all the years knowing you were next door and would have no worries calling you if I needed anything. There was no better security in CBS as the Leonard’s they kept an eye on the house all the time even sending young fellas trying to get in over the fence in our yard, when he saw Mr watching him he wasn’t long doing the reverse stance backwards off the fence.. we’ve missed you both very much since you moved out of your home next door along with our 2 girls when I told them you both passed away - they were both devastated.. R.I.P. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard we will always remember you both always.
P.S. Mr. Leonard you left part of you with us - your lawnmower, Rod uses it all the time and I’m sure thinks of you when he does..

I have had the pleasure of completing Ed's and Theresa's income tax returns for far too many years to count. He would always call for an appointment and I looked forward to his visit. He was a gentleman and a pleasure to serve. His visit always included a chat. I will miss his calls and visits in the future. Sincere sympathy to his family and friends -Don and Elaine Hennessey
