Madonna Ann (Pat) Reid (nee Hennessey)

1948-2019

Age :71

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. L. A. Miller Centre on December 7,2019, after a courageous battle with Cancer, in the presence of her family. Predeceased by Parents Matthew and Nellie Hennessey, brothers Bob, Paul, David Hennessey, her stillborn twin boys, granddaughter Laylah, and nephew Todd. She leaves with many precious memories husband Jerdon of 29 years, sons David (Kelly ), Craig (Andrea), Stepson Paul  (Carol Ann), grandchildren Kyle, Nicholas, Parker, Chloe, Emma, Cody, Anna, Lennie, Nathan, Jake, Danny, and great granddaughter Alexis. Sisters Daneal (Noel), Judy (Peter) and Glenys (Bill). Also, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a great circle of friends. Close friend Colleen and special buddies Jimmy and Shawn. Our family would like to extend a special thanks to the medical staff of the cancer clinic (Dr Armstrong, Dr McIsaac and Dr Downton) and the palliative care team at the L.A Miller Centre.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at the James J Hickey Memorial Funeral Home Kelligrews on Monday, December 9 at 2 pm – 4pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service to take place at the James J. Hickey Memorial Chapel, Kelligrews on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 11 am with Rev. Jean Smith officiating. Donations may be made in Madonna’s memory to a charity of one’s choice or the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
