Brian, Gord, Paula, Audrey and family, I am so sorry that Max has passed, he was a wonderful man, we had many joyous times with Max when he was in our family, we went on vacation with him and my Mother a few times, we had so much fun, over the years there many dinners, BBQ's and each occasion Max always had a story or something funny would always happen, we have so many memories of great and happy times well spent, may he rest in peace and we send our love to all of you, may God bless you and comfort you in the days and weeks ahead.

I am so sorry about your loss of Max. He was a kind, generous, and considerate man. Our family met him through Kiwanis and he was a great friend of Dad so we always saw or heard about Max, and then Audrey. Thinking of all of you as you mourn the loss of Max.

Please accept our most sincere condolences. So sorry to hear of your Dads passing. We recently moved from our home on Pandora and are staying with family for a few months. It’s been busy but had we known of his passing before today both Lyle and I would have been there for visitation and his service. He was a wonderful person. I always enjoyed our chats. Thinking of you all at this time. Uncle Max was such a lovely man. He was always so thoughtful, caring and kind. We have been away over 20 years now and every year when we came home Uncle Max would visit us. We are going to miss those visits.

When we grow up next door to family, we get to share many moments in life. All the joys and successes. All the pain, suffering, and hardship. Each and every experience only strengthens, bonds us, and creates a connection that only love knows.
I was deeply saddened to hear of your passing Uncle Max. You have influenced me in ways you will never know. Or perhaps you do. I am forever grateful for the strength in your teachings.

Gordon, Brian, Paula, We are saddened to hear of your Dad’s passing. We were fortunate to have spent endless enjoyable hours with your Dad telling jokes, listening to stories, playing cards, etc. Saying that he was a good friend to us and Partner to our Mom is an understatement. We have endless respect for Maxwell E. and I couldn’t have chosen a better soul mate for my Mom.
Heaven is a better place with Max there and a piece of our hearts will forever be with him.

I will miss you, my dear, sweet, Uncle Max. You were the best uncle a niece could ever have. You took great care of me at my mother’s (your sister, Anne’s) funeral. You shared wonderful stories of growing up in Port-aux-Basques & proceeded to give me the grand tour of the town, complete with history & humorous family anecdotes.
