with apologies for my lateness. just found out today this VERY SAD news. i was out of province dec 22 - mid february. walked into starbucks & was caught off guard. this was how my heart responded...
Oh no! Oh no! has it really been that long
since i saw you smile & wrote for you a song?
Well i guess it has been awhile & now you are gone.
what else is there to say besides "oh no!" ?
So i sit here with your photo & your "infectious laugh"
You made me as well feel special. Can't believe those days are past.
A Cafe Americana served with the lovely charm you had.
"Oh no!" What more is there to add?
Your birthday was kind of special. is was quite close to mine.
My heart was inspired on yours to write you a few lines.
I bought you a big balloon. you gave me one of your smiles.
I'm caught off guard with this news. I was away awhile.
For your countless friends & family. my heart again must compose.
Like me, i know there's many who also loved you so.
You'll be warmly welcomed into your heavenly home.
My hearts refrain is once again to say, "Oh no!"
i made a small donation at the Starbuck's counter & will sing this song this evening at the Paradise Open Mic
my heartfelt condolences to you all!

I met patsy when I worked at Canadian tire, we easily became very good friends, we always talked and laughed, we went to lunch together all the time and she even drove me home multiple times! She was one of the best ladies I ever knew! The world won't be such a great place without her! I saw her last sometime in November and I wished I would have talked to her longer she is someone I will always miss talking to, being around and sharing my time with! xoxoxox

I was heartbroken to hear of Patsy’s untimely passing. Like many, I met Patsy at Starbucks when I would visit with my little granddaughter. Patsy became our good friend and would always treat my granddaughter to milk and a treat. A couple of years ago, just before Christmas, my granddaughter and I visited Starbucks one morning and Patsy was so happy to see us because she had a gift for my granddaughter - a little stuffed toy (Switch A Rooz Pony Oats & Barley). My granddaughter, now four, still loves Oats and Barley and would say “Patsy gave it to me”. The next Christmas, she gave her a Starbucks Gingerbread House. It’s not hard to see that Patsy had a heart of gold. She often spoke fondly of her own little granddaughter Kaylee and it was very obvious that she adored her.
Our visit to Starbucks will never be the same without seeing Patsy’s smiling and welcoming face. RIP Dear Patsy.

I am just learning of this horrible loss. Patsy was a star at Starbucks. For several years I would go and get my tea each morning. She knew when I pulled into the parking lot what my order was and had it ready for me along with a huge smile. She was a bright spot each morning. From our talks about Oak Island to her teasing me about my occasional cookie, she was caring and made sure she knew her customers. To her family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss.

Well, coffee and Starbucks will never be the same. Just found out today about this horrible tragedy. Huge and heartfelt condolences to the Scott family. Patsy was a gem, a diamond. Not often you meet someone like that with such a huge and genuine personality who only wants to make you smile. My friend Jim Roche and i would frequent the coffee shop and Patsy would often sit with us during her morning break. They were such good times. We are both floored and heartbroken for all concerned. She will never be replaced. God bless and Rest In Peace dear Patsy.

Patsy, it was a pleasure to see you in the mornings and to share so many laughs at the drive thru window. You always cheered up our mornings and put a smile on my face every time I saw you. You seemed to know the name of every single person who ventured to Starbucks in the mornings as I'd hear you calling out people's names and telling them to have a good day. You always made sure to sneak my oldest a cake pop and made my wine glass a little extra full when we ran into each other at Bellissimo. You were a larger than life presence (despite being pint sized!) and you are very much missed. My morning drive thru's are simply not the same without you and our banter. Rest in peace.

We had the good fortunate to be often served by Patsy at Bellissimo. She was always so cheerful and thoughtful. After our second visit, she made a point of learning our names and always called out a hello to us as we walked by. She gave such warmth, friendliness and joy to others. May she rest in peace and feel the love from afar.

I had the pleasure to meet Patsy through her work at Starbucks. She was always so friendly and outgoing and took such pride in making your time at Starbucks such a pleasant experience. To her family and friends, please know that Patsy will be dearly missed. Hugs to all in this difficult time.

Patsy was a bright start to my day. She always had a smile and greeting for you when you arrived and a goodbye when you left. She called everyone by their names and went out of her way to make you happy! My little grandsons loved Patsy because she joked around with them. If they didn’t see her when they went there, they would say where’s Patsy?
She will be missed so much. To her family, cherish your memories, she spoke lovingly of you.

Reading this obituary this morning breaks my heart. Patsy was such a beautiful and kind hearted woman. My husband and I called her the "light" of Starbucks. Always smiling and always remembered our names. Customer service is not like it was, but Patsy made sure she made our experience amazing, every single time. She will be missed tremendously. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go to Patsy's family and many friends at this time. We are so sorry.

For two years, my first stop every morning was the Starbucks at Stavanger Drive. And every morning Patsy greeted me with a smile and the small talk that over time became friends having a daily conversation. I came to enjoy the start of my day and it wasn't complete if Patsy wasn't at the counter. Shock and devastation are not words to describe how I feel. To Patsy's family, I hope peace finds you and know that she touched a lot of people in her life that she helped make their days that much better.

I didn’t know Patsy for a long time only about 6 months when she served me at Starbucks when I worked out in that area. But every morning I would go in no matter how busy she was she would make sure she said good morning to me and when I left she would let me know to have a great day. She talked so highly of her granddaughter and about the activities they would do and sleepovers they would have. My thoughts and prayers are with the Scott families.

I am so saddened to hear of Patsy’s passing. We often saw her at Belissimo where she was friendly and kind. Last Thursday, there was an error with my take out order. She had it redone and then with a little smile, told me it was worth the wait. When I arrived home I found she gave me mistaken meal as well. It was a small but sweet gesture that made me smile. Thinking of her family, friends and coworkers.
