Obituary of Frank Dwyer

Dwyer, Frank (Joseph) Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex in the presence of his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, January 3, 2013 of Paradise, age 46 yrs. Predeceased by his grandparents William and Anastasia Emberley. Leaving to mourn his wife Gertrude of 21 years, 2 sons Cody and Joshua whom he adored, his parents John (Jack) and Eileen Dwyer, parents-in-law George and Carmelita Pomeroy, brothers-in-law Junior (Theresa) and Keith, sisters-in-law Kelly Dollimount and Denise (Randy Tibbo), 3 special nephews Ryan, Cole and Noah. Also leaving to mourn uncles, aunts, cousins and a large circle of friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday and Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, January 7, 2013 in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, Manuel's at 10 am. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Children Wish Foundation and any Charitable Sports Organization. Special thanks to the Drs and Nurses of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, especially Carmel Collins NP and Dr. Rorke and MacDonald and the staff of the Rehabilitation Unit of the L.A. Miller Centre.
