Obituary of Peter D. Walsh

It is with heavy hearts our family announces the sudden passing at home of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Peter Walsh, age 68 years. His sense of humour with his witty remarks always put a smile on the face of others. He was a man with a kind heart that would be there for anyone who needed him. Predeceased by his parents: Peter Sr. and Bridget Walsh and sister Johanna Foley. Left to cherish his loving soulmate of 22 years, Jocelyn,his children: Alia and Greg, grandchildren: Everett, Emerson and Ava, brothers and sisters: Willie, Aloysius, Dan, John, Phonse, Ann, Charlie and Martha, mother and father-in-law: Beatrice and John Fiander, sisters-in-law: Glenda, Jeanette and Marlyce, his special furry friend Hunter who joined him on many walks and warmed his heart. Also leaving to mourn numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Tuesday from 2 pm – 4 pm & 7 pm – 9 pm. Funeral Service will take place from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Topsail on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 10 am. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Topsail.
