Shanie, I've thought about you a lot over the last few days. You were a wonderful friend, I smile thinking about some of the things we got into when we were young. My heart hurts because you were taken so soon. Not long ago, you were the only friend who came to celebrate my birthday with me. You even saved the last dance for my Mom. It meant a lot to me. You were always so kind and warm. I will treasure those memories and keepsakes.
Janet, you haven't left my thoughts over these last few days. Shane was a wonderful man, and a wonderful friend. You did a fine job of raising him right. I'd like to thank you for that. I will keep you in my heart and prayers. I am so very sorry for your loss, words cannot express.

To all Shane’s family
He was the most caring friend to anyone, always made sure your day was going good and if not he would do whatever he could to try to help. He was always there to listen when you needed someone. He was always smiling and no matter where he seen you to he would say hello or wave his hand if he drove past.
Shane had the biggest heart. He was truly one of a kind. I will cherish the memories I have of him and will certainly miss our run ins almost every morning.
I know he will send you all the strength you need to get through the days ahead. He adored everyone of his siblings and his nieces and nephews. His face would light up when speaking of any of you especially his girls.

While I didn't know Shane all that well, we went to school together. Shane's Aunt Madonna was my mom's best friend, so I'd always here about that great guy. We were friends on facebook, so like most of us it was a way to keep in touch with each other after the school days. But we always said that "Hello" to each other when passing in the grocery store or that friendly wave to each other crossing the Tim Hortons parking lot. Shane was that great guy. If you knew him, you knew that smile, you knew that kindness, you knew that love. He was that guy that you just couldn't forget. My heart truly aches for his daughter, his family, and all of his friends. Please accept my deepest condolences as you all go through this difficult time and the days ahead. Cherish the wonderful memories you have of Shane. Rest Easy Shane. Forever in Our Hearts.

Shane, I cannot believe the world lost you so early in your life. The thoughts and posts I have read online have been so overwhelming. You are so loved by so many people! I am sorry we lost contact after graduation but was happy to have seen you a few times while working closely with your mother. You will be missed and thought of more than you could ever realize.
Janet and family, I don't even know what to say to help ease your burden. I want you to know that everyone at Instrumar is thinking of you at this difficult time and are here if you need anything. Love you guys, stay strong.

I did not know this young man and wondered if I should write this or not but I have been thinking of him and his family all day and felt compelled to write this. After hearing of his passing on Facebook I did what I guess many of us do these days and I looked him up on FB to see if I knew him. I recognized him as a customer when I worked at Tim Hortons. Looking at his pictures with his family, especially his girls, broke my heart. Those pictures showed a young man with a very big heart. The pictures with his girls shows what a wonderful father he was. They were very lucky to have him. Unfortunately it was not long enough. I pray that your memories will help you all in the days ahead. With great love comes even greater loss when we lose someone, but we are so lucky to have had that love and that person in our lives. Praying you all find comfort in each other in the days ahead. Thinking of you all at this very sad time. God Bless.
