Obituary of Maizie Bishop
Maizie Dora Bishop – November 8, 1935 – February 23, 2020.
Predeceased by her husband, Walter Bishop; sons-in-law Clarence O’Brien and Jason Pfeiffer; parents, Henry John and Mabel (Greeley) Pottle , as well as 8 sisters and 5 brothers. Leaving to mourn her 4 daughters: Roslyn(Ralph), Major Lorraine(Roland), Marilyn, Rosemarie(Nic) son, Paul. 11 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren 1 Great-great grandchild, her brother Malcolm and special family friend Lorraine (Dawe)Leonard.Also a large circle of extended family and friends.The family would like to extend a huge Thank You to the staff of Admiral's Coast Retirement Centre for taking such good care of our precious Mom while she resided at the Home. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Tuesday, February 25th from 7 pm – 9 pm, Wednesday, February 26th from 2 pm – 4 pm and 7 pm – 9 pm. Funeral Service will take place from The Salvation Army CBS Corps on Thursday, February 27th at 10:30 am. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Reader's Hill Road, Long Pond. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maizie’s honor to The Salvation Army CBS Corps Senior Band and/or The Alzheimer's Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
