Sorry to read of Clarence passing.It was a pleasure to know Clarence, as i worked with him at then Golden Eagle, yes he had a smile as to remember.He was a honest man liked by all R.I.P. my friend . Heavens Gate is open to you.

I worked with Clar for many years at the Ultramar refinery. He was one of the nicest, funniest and most wonderful people I have ever known. So many stories, cups of tea and countless laughs. Little things would stick out, one of those being a quote from somebody at Marine Atlantic, "Mr. Tingly said" that we heard on the radio and for years we would both start off our conversations with that quote. Also the way a mutual friend would pronounce St. John's Newfoundland.
I've been working away for many years but whenever I was home I intended to drop by but to my great regret I never did.
Clar made every shift a pleasure. What a beautiful sense of humour he possessed. He will be missed immensely.
My deepest condolences on his passing. I know he is already telling stories of his youth.

So very sorry to hear of Clarence’s passing. Shared lots of jokes, laughs and some “eye-rolling” over those jokes during the time I worked at Taylor’s Fish Market and when I’d run into him at the supermarket. He was always so smart for his age. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.
