Obituary of George Delaney

DELANEY, George A. Passed peacefully away at home Wednesday, April 22, 2020, George Delaney, age 74 years. Predeceased by his parents, Edward James and Ruby Delaney, brothers James, Robert and Boyd, and in laws William and Annie Mae Butler, Clayton Butler, and Patsy and David Chafe. Left heartbroken with loving memories his wife of 54 years, Judy; children, Clayton (Chris), Dawn (Charles Kennington), Dolores (David Smith), Cory (Tonia) and Dana (Adam Denny); siblings, David (Beverley), Betty (Reg Taylor), John (Marilyn), Winnie (Ron Glavine) and Christine (Marc French); sisters-in-law; Mona, Brenda, Eleanor and Louise (Don Batten); and special friends, Ruth Thompson, Jeff Reid and Russell Cable; 12 grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place at George’s request. A celebration of life will be held privately at a later date. Donations in George's memory may be made to the Dr. H.
