Fannie May Barnes Jan 31,1931- April 24, 2020
Passed away peacefully at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, at the age of 89, with her daughters Daphne and Bernice at her side. Predeceased by her husband, Cecil, June 2016, her parents Humphrey & Elizabeth Cole, twin sister at birth, sister Alma Keen (Judson), brothers Baxter Cole (Fanny), Bruce Cole (Elsie), sister-in-law Jean Tapper, brother-in-law Arthur Barnes. Leaving to mourn daughters Daphne Percy (Doug), Bernice Devereaux (Robert Perchard), and Tracy Barnes, Grandchildren, Keith Percy (Kim Morecombe-Percy),Mark Percy, Curtis Percy (Candace), Jason Devereaux (Samantha Best), Andrea Devereaux (Trent Hardy), Jeff Devereaux (Brittany Baker), Elizabeth Perchard-Buckle (Kyle), great grandchildren, Katie and Chloe Percy, Ella Morecombe, Kylie and Jacob Percy, Juliet and Dominic Buckle.
Also leaving sisters Dorothy Peterson (Peter), Shirley Wells (Murray), brothers Carl Cole (Sylvia), Calvin Cole (Willa). Sisters-in-law Margaret Tucker (Harold-deceased), Betty Barnes (Ross). She was a lady of many talents and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. We would like to thank Dr. M. Dunne for her compassion and guidance over the years, Comfort Home Care, especially Frances and Kelsey as well as the staff of St. Patrick’s 3-East. Mom was only there a few short weeks, but the staff were exceptionally kind and caring to her and the family during such a trying time with visitor restrictions. No flowers by request. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Foundation. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private funeral due to Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions.
