I was very sad to see Rogers’ obituary in today’s paper, what a lovely person and I remember how good he was to you with your health issues, I spoke to him many a time years ago , how he loved you and how concerned he was for you during your illness. We are lost for words for this life taken so soon . we all knew Roger was ill but also was doing better for a while .so it was unexpected this soon. Roger was a great man ,very giving with a great smile ,at least for me .He was a kind brother in law with a big heart .. We are very sad to hear about the passing of Roger. I have many good memories of Roger through the years. Roger was an excellent salmon fisherman and he was so content on the Humber river out in a boat on the upper river. Roger was a good person and Bernice and him were a great team.

Bernice we are so very very sorry to hear of Roger's passing.You both have gone through so much over the past years together. There are no words to tell you how much we are thinking of you. I baby sat Roger when he was little and let me tell you he was no angel. I look back at some of the things he and Kenny did and I laugh because I think they stayed awake planing what they were going to do the next day, like tipping the stove over and mixing a bag of flour and a carton of eggs on the floor or pouring paint down the basement steps. To Ursula and Tony and the family. It is so hard not to be able to come over to the house to help in any way we can. Our hearts go out to you and all we can do is talk over the fence when we want to hug you but can't. There will come a time when we can get together again we just want it now. It is so hard to lose a child as you have already gone through it once before. God bless you all in this terrible time. You are thought of and loved by many.

Bernice, we are so broken hearted today, we can’t imagine what you are going through. Roger has been Don’s co-worker for 30 plus years and Coady worked with him also. Besides work, they hunted and fished in their favourite spot in Glenwood, definitely good buddies, even spent time in hospital together.
