My sincere condolences to the Walsh Family. I have known Phyllis for quite a few years, through family ties. and especially through Bingo For over twenty years it was a rare occasion that Phyllis would miss bingo, when she did everyone would be quite concerned, "how come Phyllis isn't here". I to was the recipient of one of her cherry cakes at Christmas time, and especially her banana Breads, I asked her for the recipe for her Banana Bread and I use it regularly. Baking a banana bread will always remind me of Phyllis Walsh. A beautiful Lady.
Rest Peacefully Phyllis. Sandra Baggs

Today I'm thinking of all the fond memories of Aunt Phyllis. She was such a joy to be around. Having lived in Nova Scotia for the past 35 years, it wasn't often that I was able to visit with her and Uncle Phil, but when I did I always left with a bag of baked goods. As a child I always looked forward to them coming to Bishop's on vacation in the summer. To Uncle Phil, Bev and the boys, my heartfelt condolences. She was so proud and loved you all!

Our family lost a most precious aunt today. We loved Aunt Phyllis like she was our second mother. As kids, we always looked forward to visits from Uncle Philip and Aunt Phyllis. We would get so excited when we saw camper bus coming down the lane. No one was happier than mom to see Aunt Phyllis when she came for her summer visits. How they laughed together! They were two peas in a pod!
They weren't just sisters, they were best friends.
Aunt Phyllis brought such joy where ever she went. Everyone who knew her, loved her. Aunt Phyllis will never be forgotten. She was too good, too kind , and too compassionate to ever be forgotten.
My heart is broken for you, Uncle Philip, Bev, Michael, Randy, and Pat and your families. Please know that you are in my prayers.
Love Denise Williams Cave
