Obituary of Gertrude Spracklin

Spracklin, Gertrude Jessie (Nov. 28, 1939 - June 5, 2020) With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gertrude Spracklin on June 5, 2020, age 80. She is predeceased by her parents: Irene and Jacob Greeley, brother: Walt, sisters: Anne and Edna. Leaving to mourn husband: Gord, daughters: Gale (Peter) and Dale (Brian). granddaughter: Samantha (Matt), brother: Dan, sister: Dorothy. Also left with fond memories is a large circle of family and friends. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville, especially to the cancer care and palliative care units. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will take place. Gone but never forgotten, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. A celebration of life to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
