Obituary of Leonard Steven Mercer

Mercer, Leonard Steven Passed peacefully away at Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, January 17, 2013 after a lengthy battle with cancer of Chamberlains age 76 yrs. Predeceased by brother Cyril. Leaving to mourn his loving wife and best friend Alma, 2 sons Leonard (Sharon) and Jeff (Lynn) and daughter Bonnie (Russell), grandchildren Angela, Michael, Natasha, Danielle, Jessica and Jennisa, great-grandchildren Emily and Brittany, brother Gordon, sisters Florence, Margaret and Lorraine. Also nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Friday from 7 - 9 pm, Saturday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service will take place from Topsail United Church on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm, with interment to follow at Topsail United Cemetery. No flowers by request.
