SMITH Frances Lillian (née Petten) It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beautiful mom, wife, sister, nan and friend, Frances Lillian Smith (Petten) at the age of 71 years on July 21, 2020. Predeceased by her infant son Barry Joseph, parents Ethel & William, sisters Florence, Marion, and Thelma, and brother Ebenezer. Also predeceased by her mother and father in-law Joseph and Violet, and her brother in-law Clayton. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories: her devoted husband of 55 years John, children John (Karen), Wayne (Kelly), David (Tina), Cassie Locke (Dave), Elizabeth Kozyra (Walter), Glen (April), and Carl (Leslie), grandchildren Ryan, Emily, Matthew, Melanie, Jacob, Kendall, Eason, Nathan, Cailey, Sophie, Benjamin, Kelsey, Abigayle, Cameron, Luke and Hillary. Also siblings, Helen Chaytor, Ruby Sharpe, Claudine Porter, Victor Petten, brother-in-law Howard Smith, and a large circle of extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of her life will take place at a later date. No flowers by request. Donations in Frances’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
