I’m so sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. We were really good friends growing up together, from our days of playing pond hockey to our soccer playing days. He was truly a wonderful man who never had a bad word to say about anyone. He always had a smile on his face.

I have known Dave for many years, we went to High School together at the original QERHS. That was a long time ago. I remember Dave as a happy person with a big laugh. He loved to stop and talk and talk about the old days and new things going on. Also about old classmates that he had been out of touch with.

Dave and I have many connections but our paths only crossed very recently during my own care at the HSC. We sat and chatted for hours. Hooked up to adjacent machines, I couldn’t escape! I jest. He kept me company and made me laugh during a difficult part of my life and I am thankful to have met him when I did. He was big in personality and life and fiercely proud of his family.

Sending sincere condolences on Dave’s passing. He was a wonderful neighbour and the biggest, best torment on Chaytor’s & Chamberlains Roads!
I would see him strolling over with his “la da dee” tune and he had to know all the latest with “What’s going ahead here?” He loved his family and was so very proud of all of you. His chest literally puffed out when speaking about you.
He had an enormous laugh. He’d throw his head back and tell me how saucy I still was , just like I was when I was little. Then tell me to “ Carry on!” and with a wave was on his way. Such a kind, gentle man. He will be missed by many but leaves happy memories in his wake.

I was shocked to hear of Dave’s passing, I was speaking to him a few days ago, he was concerned about Lions Radio Bingo cards and who would fill in for him while going through some medical issues. He almost had me convinced to take over for him, but he said let’s wait until the fall, I maybe feeling better by then. I will miss our chats. Sending Condolences to the Pynn family. I knew Dave from his regular visit at Tim Horton's in Manuals. Just about every morning he would walk in with a big smile on his face and would have everyone there laughing within a matter of minutes. I would always torment him about asking to have his hot beverage put in the microwave for 30 seconds. RIP Dave. You're Tim Hortons friends will certainly miss you.
