Obituary of Elizabeth Finlay

Finlay, Elizabeth November 21, 1943 – August 31, 2020 Passed peacefully away with her daughter by her side at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital at the age of 76. Predeceased by her husband John, November 11, 1996, her parents, George and Elsie, brothers, Tom, Philip and Dave, sisters, Ann, Josephine and Mary. Leaving to mourn their sad loss, her only daughter, Vivian (Wayne Ryan), five sons, Sean (Kim), Robert (Marlene), Ross (Janice), Mike, Mervin (Denise). Her 11 grandchildren who she adored, James (Meghan), Zachery (Chelsea), Nathan, Faith, Jorja, Dylan, Lauren, Coady, Spencer, William and Amelia (and their mom Pam). Special friend, Ron Carew. Sisters, Regina (Fabian), Theresa, Barbara (John), her brother, Bill (Muriel). Sisters-in-law, Marie and Cecelia. Also her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, especially her home care workers, Judy, Janice, April and Amy. A special thank you to the medical personnel and support staff of 6 West at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A privative visitation is planned in Hickey’s Funeral Home, Kelligrews and Our Lady of Fatima Church, St. Shott’s. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church, St. Shott’s.
