I just read about Bruce passing. You know me from Sysco. I’m retired and now living out around the bay It’s sad to hear and I would like to offer my condolences. I knew Bruce for many years . We played squash in CBS. He was a go getter. I remember he would be always laughing and no matter what he never got upset playing. I say to his family All The Best! Bernice I met you in the hallway at Sysco and you are one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. No wonder why your family is so nice . Take care .

Dear Bernice and family, I know this time in your lives is quite difficult. Death is certainly not a normal part of life like most people think it is. Bruce would agree because we serve a God of love, and a God that is loving would not cause so much hurt. As you know one of the Scriptures we are using now to bring comfort to those to whom we preach is “‘I well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you,’ declares Jehovah, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope.’” (Jeremiah 29:11). Jehovah says he wants to give us a future and a hope. Bruce believed this! So while our beautiful brother awaits the resurrection we know he is no longer in pain. When we see Bruce again I know he will want to host a party! One of his specialities that gave so many of us special memories with you both! We love you and know our prayers are with you and your family at this hard time.

Our deepest sympathies to the family. I met Bruce only a couple of times I doubt he would remember me. However, I remember a man focused, determined and alert to what was going on with people. I see those same qualities in his family. It is my hope these words in the Bible bring you comfort. Berniece and Family,
We were heartbroken beyond to hear of Bruce's passing. So many fond memories of many laughs and the shared story telling. Visits to your home made for great conversations, wonderful meals and we were always made feel welcomed. I especially liked how much he cared about his grandchildren; a very caring grandfather. Know that he is loved and will be thought of often with great fondness, (especially April 1, if I may include). May the fond memories you have help you in the days ahead.
