I am so very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing! Your Mom was a wonderful lady, who will be fondly remembered by me and my family.
As a child growing up on Bell Island... I remember how exciting it was to be piled (all 6 of us ) into Fitzgerald's Taxi and head down to the East End to enjoy a Sunday Visit with your Mom and Dad! Of course, no Sunday would be complete without your Mom's delicious Sunday Cold Plate Supper...topped of with her delightfully mouth watering desserts! She really knew how to put on a Spread!!!
During my visits with her I was always fascinated by her fantastic memory and her delightful gift of story telling, especially those stories about my parents and grandparents!
Your Mom will always hold a special place in my heart ... she was a supper lovely lady! xo Linda
