Obituary of Myrtle Nolan

Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 30, 2020, at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home at the age of 90 years, Myrtle Annie Nolan of Upper Gullies, CBS, formerly of Bell Island. Predeceased by her husband Peter, her sons Pete and Carl, grandsons Shawn Fitzgerald, Wade Nolan and his mother Arlene Rowe (Myers), son-in-law Max Reid as well as many members of the Mercer and Nolan families. Left with fond and loving memories, daughters Roslyn Fitzgerald (France), Brenda Reid, Diane Patey (Roger), Shar Van-Sickle (Bob), Gert Scott (Gord), Jackie Nolan (Phil Butler), and Jenny Baird (Bob). Grandchildren Karen de-Jong (Wim), Michelle Boone (Corey), Francis Fitzgerald (Kristin), Mandy Hilderbrandt (Dwayne), Darryl Reid (Natalie), Rodney Nolan (Angela), Kim Rose (Jamie), Jeff Patey, Liam Van-Sickle, Brenda Scott, Todd Scott (Jen Rice), Nadine Carnell (Kenny Dunne), Ashley Carnell (Aaron Roberts), Adam Carnell, Andrew Baird (Stacey Corbett), Matthew Baird, Alison Rideout (Alex), Nichole Nolan, Ryan Nolan and Michael Nolan. Great grandchildren, Tristan, Megan, Ryan, Nathan, Taylor Grace, Mason, Rowan, Matthew, Abigail, Nolan, Kylie, Alyssa, Jeremy, Ripley, Finn, Adam, Kaleb, Zander, Joel, Sophie, Haley, Alexander, Taylor, Jackson and Kylie, sister-in-law May Mercer and close family friend Eileen Barnable. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. A private service is planned. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in Mom’s memory to the Salvation Army, CBS, The Gathering Place, or the Candlelighters Association of NL.
