Condolences to Jim's wife and family. I have many fond memories of Jim at the old Salvation Army school, so many trouting days and trips through the deep woods, skating on the pond, mummering and all those childhood things. He loved working with wood: I remember when he made a doll's cradle for my little sister, Mary, from a wooden apple box. That was the night, as my mother was carrying her up to bed, she called out, "Goodnight, Jim Bear." Jim was a kind and gentle man. He will be missed.
