Obituary of Thomas Kehoe

Thomas James Kehoe also known as “jimmy” of Red Bridge Road, Kelligrews, CBS, NL peacefully passed away on January 19th 2021.Predeceased by his parents Rose and Thomas Kehoe of Ireland, his sister Philomena and sons Derek and jimmy Kehoe he leaves behind a daughter Helena Kehoe (Scott Lawrence)of Nova Scotia and a son Steven Kehoe (Ketelyn Challonder )of Nova Scotia and 6 sisters residing in the UK and Ireland. Jim was a lover of life. He was also a lover of the outdoors especially walking on trails and anywhere with a scenic view. He thoroughly enjoyed nature and found great solice in taking it all in and learning about it. He was also very much a people person. Those who met him where always left with an impression and more often than not ended up becoming very good friends with him. He was a social man who enjoyed conversations with others and understood the value in taking the time to get to know people. To his friends and family he was a bright light within their lives, always willing to give a helping hand and do what he could for them. He was also a very proud Irishman which is where he was born and raised and later in life returned there and had his four children. But for the last 33 years Newfoundland was his home. This is where he continued to make so many great friends that he considered family and they considered him family also. There are very many heavy hearts knowing that we will not be able to see him again physically but we also know how blessed each one of us are to have known such a great man and been a part of his life and him a part of ours. Our dad, our friend, our brother. You will be missed by many and are loved by all. Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of his life will take place at a future date.
