Our love and prayers to all of you during this difficult time. I have so many great memories that I will cherish always. She was such a kind, loving, gentle lady who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. You could ask her anything and she loved to tell you stories about growing up and our family history, she had the patience of a Saint, especially with children. One of my favorite stories was her winning the "Robin Hood" Flour Baking award. A lovely young man came to the door to let her know she had won a baking contest and present her with a plaque. She had to be honest and tell him she used "Cream of the West" flour, he obviously appreciated her honesty, she got to keep the plaque, something I always admired when I visited, it spoke to her character. (I might have the flours mixed up, but you get the point). She was also a great support to me always, but especially during this last year. My heart shares in your heartbreak, wishing we could be there with you all. Much love, rest in peace Aunt Lillian!

My sincerest condolences to the Jefford and Norman family on the passing of a sister, a mother, grand mother and great grand mother.
We have all been blessed by the presence of a wonderful loving soul for these past many years.
Aunt Lillian was an Angel if there there ever was one.
I always liked to visit the old house by the pond and have a cup of tea with the matriarch.
I particularly liked visiting because I had lots of questions and Aunt Lillian was a storehouse of knowledge.
Sometimes the conversation went like this:
"Who is the old man in the picture with the long beard?"
"He is your great grand father William."
"Where was grand mother Jefford from?"
"She was a Janes from Port aux Basque."
"What was Grand father Robert doing in Port aux
Basque?"
"He was there teaching school."
And so the conversation went.
The last time we spoke she was preparing to go to the Home, "everything was arranged she said."
The old homestead will never be quite the same with out her.
I bet she is happy and contented and the center of attention in her new digs, no doubt
fielding questions from the left right and center.
Aunt Lillian will be for ever cherished and remembered in our hearts. as a kind, caring and loving soul.
And until we meet again, thanks you for the pleasant memories.

Barbara Ann, Clyde and Howard and your families. We are shocked and heart broken to hear of Aunt Lillian's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all right now. May you draw strength fro God, your friends and families at this difficult time. I will miss our chats. Though they weren't everyday, they were frequent. She was so much like Mom. Bless you all.
