In my time as an EVS worker at PVT there are few people who made an impact on me like Florence did. She was always smiling, laughing, and happy to have a chat. Her love for her children and family was overwhelming, I remember I remarked after her birthday that her room liked like a Hallmark due to all the cards from her children and she had a big laugh, and she would always give my dog a little pet when I would bring her in to see a relative.
My condolences to your family on the loss of such an important figure. A life full of love is a life well lived. I can only hope to age with as much grace and beauty as Ms. Flossy. Thank you for always being a guaranteed ray of sunshine on my bad days at work.

Sorry for the loss of your mom. I have fond memories of Florence. Her smile and infectious laugh would light up a room. She was a great cook and an excellent baker, loved her apple blossoms.
I babysat numerous times on Gower Street, she was a great mother to her children and loved them unconditionally.
RIP Florence.

To Barry, Ernest, Krista, Gerard, Robert, Anne, Matthew, and all other family and friends.
Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your Mom. Your Mom loved all of you deeply and was very blessed and proud. We grew up in St. John's, 1st cousins, only 2 years apart. We saw a lot of good times and some not so good, but we made it through it all. I will always remember her smile and good nature, she lit up every room she was in. She is gone but not forgotten, God's Speed.

To Flossie's Family - She loved each one of you dearly and spoke of you all on our visits. Your mom was a beautiful person and went above and beyond to show her love, especially through her home cooked meals. We have many fond memories of times at the camp, where she would sleep in that old lazy boy brought up from the old cafeteria down under the hill, just so she could be at camp with her church family! We look forward to the resurrection where she will be made new!
You are in our prayers,
Pastor Gary & Almyra Hodder

We have pleasant memories of Florence and her family. Her warm personality would win anyone's heart. She showed an intense interest in you while conversing. We remember the lovely apricot cakes she shared with us at Christmas time. I have pleasant memories of several of her children as they attended the St. John's SDA Elementary School and gave me the honor to teach them.
It is our hope to meet her on the Resurrection morning when the Lord calls her forth. Dear family, plan to be there to meet her, too.
May the Lord strengthen you as you go on in life's journey. Stand for principle. Stand for the right. Heaven and the New Earth will be so wonderful. Meeting Jesus will be the greatest privilege and delight we will ever experience.
Ed and Marion

To all the family with our deepest condolences!
Words could never express neither my deepest sorrow for the loss of a mom who was loved so much by all her precious children and one who was also so near and dear to my heart!
Flossie and I first met on our hospital beds at the Grace Hospital after giving birth to our bouncing baby boys, Matthew and Stephen! God blessed me with a dear and special friend like no other! From that day forward Flossie and all her children became a very special part of our lives and we loved them all!
She will always be remembered for her kind and caring heart, the love she had for her children and grandchildren, her hardy laughter, her lemon squares and her yummy Special K Roast! No one made the Special K Roast quite like Flossie did!
She will be dearly missed by all who loved her but remember it is not the end! Jesus is coming soon and we will all have the opportunity to be with Florence again, on that great Resurrection Morning, this time forever, never to part again! What a day, glorious day that will be!
For now I pray that God will give you the strength and the comfort you all need as you go through this most difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!
And remember, " What We Have Once Enjoyed We Can Never Lose; All That We Love Deeply Becomes A Part Of You!
We love you all and just wish we could be there to hug you!
All Our Love,
Lenny, Trish, Cheryl & Stephen Cox

Anne & Florence’s Family,
We knew your mother mostly from church. What a beautiful example of a Christian she showed in her character. Always a lovely smile and very easy to talk to. You could feel comfortable in her presence. At one point in her life she shared a hospital room with my husband‘s aunt who enjoyed having her as a roommate.
We know she’ll always be close to you all in your heart. May Our Lord and hers be with you all at this sad time in your lives.
Take care of yourselves,
Larry & Bridget Penney

Dear Anne and Family,
Our family was very saddened to hear of your dear Mom’s passing. We will always remember your Mother’s sweet smile and pleasant ways! Whenever we talked she was so attentive and engaged in our conversation. She always had time to chat to any of her friends or acquaintances whenever we chanced to meet at Church or pot-luck dinners. My husband Wayne, as a former teacher to Flossie’s children, wishes to convey the sorrow he feels to you all in the passing of your Mother. We feel that Heaven will welcome this fine Christian lady where none grow old or ever part again! Our deepest condolences to the entire Family. Cherish her memory and keep looking forward to when you will meet her on Heaven’s blissful shore! May God bless and sustain you all at this difficult time. Sincerely, Wayne & Sharon Taylor, and Mother - Margaret Brown.

So sorry to hear of Florence's passing. She was one of Ches's and my favorite nieces. She was always happy and had a beautiful smile all the time. She adored her family and always gave the best to them when I'm sure she had to do without herself. She was a remarkable and very giving person who will be much missed.
I have not seen Florence for some time since Ches passed away but have spoken to her on the phone and thought of her often.
Please accept my sincere condolences and I know you have many happy memories to cherish.

I’ll always remember the first day mom and Flossie meet, up in the house by red bridge road, mom was babysitting Tiffany, we were coming out of Brenda’s place to go somewhere and Flossie was out on her front step calling across the yard to mom, hey missus come on over for a cup of tea will ya! We went over and mom said I don’t drink tea but I have a bit of Diet Pepsi if ya got any... and so it began a friendship that would span 32 years across time, most of my childhood memories revolve around mom and Flossie’s friendship. May she Rest In Peace! Thinking of you all at this time.
