Took a little while for this to sink in...My thoughts and sadness to your family members. We all have known Gary to be a good friend for many years. He always had a big grin on his face when he saw any of us. For those of us that really knew him, the ones of us that know what "EBA EBA ONDELAY" means, we all knew him as a good soul, that was so kindhearted.This has brought up so many good, forgotten memories and you are missed. There will always be a "funny story" with "Lockie" in it. He won't be forgotten. We are all glad to have known you!

To Gary's mom and family we are so sorry for your loss. This is the third attempt to write this because it's still so hard to believe and accept that he is gone. Steve and I are heartbroken. We've known Gary ( Lockie ) most of our lives and it's going to be so hard to go home and know that he is never going to be there again. Salmonier Line is never going to be the same. We had so many good times together. Many laughs. He was a kindhearted, gentle, respectful and giving friend. You loved my meals and goodies and appreciated everything ten fold. To think that we've lost our fishing buddy ( you knew all the good spots ) is unthinkable. No more picnics by the pond, no berry picking and no laughs with him. He was our protector and defender cause heaven forbid anyone say or do anything toward us! We hope and pray that he is with his furry friends because he cared for them and worried about them always. He fed them before he'd feed himself. He was a true blue friend. It breaks our hearts for the way he left us. He didn't deserve that and that's what makes it so hard. We loved him, worried about him and cared immensely about him as he did us. We will never forget him for he will always be a part of our memories and hearts. Rest in peace friend and fly high. You always asked Terry if he heard from the other fella ( Francis )and how we were doing. Yes the other fella is ok and we're good. We never said goodbye when we were leaving and we're not gonna say it now. If there's any such thing as meeting again some day wherever you are we will find you. So see ya later friend . This is my 3rd shot at saying my goodbye lockie. Not sure if the the 2 first posts never went through cause you thought the pic I posted said enough or what.
I'm so lost for words man not sure what or where to start. My heart ❤ is broken so bad man and you never deserved this buddy. Why well never know but all I can hope for is that your in a better place now. Me, my family, the people in salmonier and all your friends will miss your smile & laugh for the rest of our days. You would give your own shirt to a stranger if needed and never ask for it back.
That makes me so mad and hard to understand why your number was up. Not fair my friend. We had alot of good times as you know and I got alot of memories to look back on.
Gary I'm not sure how to mend a broken heart but if you can I know you'll help me through this.
Love you buddy so much and I'll miss all the late night drunks and chats for sure.
Don't want to say goodbye but see ya lator I guess.
