Hey nan , I miss you so much . I wish you were still here . A lot has happened over these past few months that I wish you were here for. You always knew what to do and say . You were always the go to person when you need advice , someone to have listen to you or just for a hug . There are sometimes that I wish I could give you a hug and hear you say that everything will be okay . But I know in my heart that you are saying this even though you are gone . You are in much better place now , with no hurt and no pain . Plus you with uncle John and aunt Helen . I wish you could still be here with me . But since you can't I'm glad your up there with them . I love you so much nan && I can't thank you enough for everything you have done for me . I owe you my life nan . Miss you && love you forever . You granddaughter Keri . Xoxoxo .

I do remember Sandra moving to Dunville and going to school and becoming best friends with my sister Daphne. They hung out constantly and I am sure there are many more stories Daphne can tell, for sure though they would be about fun times. Although I was not amongst the "in group", I do remember feeling that Sandra was so beautiful. They were graduating from high school and there was a prom to attend. Well Daphne and Sandra were both attending and both had dates. Sandra's date was Doug Hefford, quite handsome he was, but he was the lucky one as Sandra was so beautiful and a heart to match. Don't know why, but I was looking out our living room window the day of the prom and I noticed Doug's car pull up Sandra's driveway to pick her up. Well Sandra came out of the house and I believe she had to walk a little down the driveway, but I remember feeling, "oh my how beautiful she is". Her dress was gorgeous. I wasn't much younger than them, but to me, she looked like a princess. Even when she moved away from Dunville, when we sit around talking, telling stories of our younger years, they would always include the Elliott's and the Morgan's and for sure Sandra was a part of one a story line or two. Forever in our hearts. RIP Sandra. XO

Sandra came to Dunville to live with Marion in her teens, I think because her mother was not well. Marion lived across the road from us, so luckily, I had the opportunity to be with a very special person. We babysat every weekend when Marion and Irvy went to a dance on the Argentia Base. Rum and cokes and cigarettes were the norm then. Marion was impressed with us because we always tidied up the house. Really, we were sneaking cigarette butts (yes I know, yuck!) but at the time we had great fun. We'd walk to the Milley's store and get a flaky and a drink, Babysit, sit on her bed, smoke butts and talk about boys, dances, school. Sandra, even then, was a kind, funny, lovely person to spend time with. She married young and I saw her few times in the early years, she talked about her children that she loved, how she had a little store in her house. I missed her so much when she left and I thought of her often. I'm know she'll remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
