To all the Butler families;
Such a great lost for ye and the community who knew him. I can just imagine the scene in Heaven now, with all the bus drivers gathered around talking about the old times and the many adventures they have encountered. As children of all those wonderful bus driver's I'm sure each of us has our favorite memories and stories. All of them are saints to put up with a lot of our foolishness but when all was said and done they loved us all, just as much or more as we loved them.
May all the joy and laughter of all them be heard on earth as Buck joins his darling wife, children and all his buddies that have gone before him. Lets all rejoice and be happy till we meet again. God Bless they are all safe in His Hands..

I was 7 years old when Buck and Don came to work with Dad. They built two dump trucks out of beer trucks retired by Bavarian and Bennett Breweries and during the summers they worked building the road through Bay Bulls and the Trans Canada Highway. They tore down Steers warehouse on the waterfront in St. John's and built the garage in Seal Cove along with Rick and Reg Bishop which still stands today. I had the privilege to work with Uncle Buck along with my brothers Rick Bob and Terry and my father for decades.....on school runs...in the garage...Mint Brook camp runs...bingo runs....along with Gerald Petten and Alf and Eric and so many many more good people....all my memories of Uncle Buck are fabulous memories...he was like a father to me and taught me many life lessons...I'm sure theres a new star in heaven....thank you Buck for all the goodness you brought us....

I have very fond memories of Buck as a bus driver and also playing darts with him and his wife some years ago, we had many laughs on our outings. I will miss our little chats when I stop by for vegetables.
