Obituary of Leonard Rideout

Leonard Rideout Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by his family on July 29, 2021, age 75 years. Predeceased by his parents: Mary and William Rideout and brother: William Rideout. Leaving to mourn with many loved memories his wife of 41 years Myra Rideout, sons: Paul Porter (Rochelle), Dennis Porter (Connie) and Collins Porter (Jennifer), six much loved grandchildren: Rochelle (Justin), Velvet (Nathan),Anita, Katherine, William and Nathan. Also leaving to mourn sisters: Martha Butler, Jean Boggan (Tom), Rachel Petten (Louis), Ella Abbott (Cyril), Louise Lear, Marjorie Gorman (Don), brothers: Arthur Rideout (Rita), Andrew Rideout (Genevieve), friends and special little puppy Riley. Thank you to the doctors and nurses of 4 North B at the Health Sciences Centre. According to COVID restrictions, visitation will be in Hickey’s Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday July 31, 2021 from 2 PM – 6 PM. Funeral service will take place in Hickey’s Funeral Home Chapel, Kelligrews on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at 11:30 AM. Internment in All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Church Road, Foxtrap.
