It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Kenneth Shirl Eason on July 29th 2021 at age 53 years. Predeceased by daughter Samantha and father Buck Eason; aunts and uncles: Dallas Warford, Gus Lee, Ron Nugent, Roy Greeley, Rita & Bill Carroll, Jerry Hanrahan and Eugene Nugent.    Leaving to mourn with broken hearts but wonderful memories his devoted wife Stephanie; his immense source of pride and joy daughter Ashley (Chris Gallant); beloved mother Helen; adored sisters Jackie Stanley (Dave) and Gail.  He will be tremendously missed by his in-laws; Les & Marg Haines, Bill & Nicole Haines with their children Cassandra (Brad & Madelyn) and Colin.  Ken’s extended family are devastated by his passing:  special aunt and second mother Marg Lee; Joe Nugent (Cheri), Marie McFarland (Dale), Tom Nugent (Barb), Dave Nugent (Ellen), Suzanne Peters (Brian), Rosalind MacNeil (Jerome), Kathy Gaulton (Ambrose), Jenny Nugent, Mary Nugent, Linda Greeley and Doreen Hanrahan.  Although Ken has numerous cousins & friends, we would like to acknowledge those who held a special place in his life: Donna Lynn, Heather, Jennifer, Randy, Rodney, Keren, Stephanie & Amanda.  He will be remembered often in fond memories by his loyal friends: Glen Dollimount, Rod Tibbo, Billy Farrell, Dave Stoyles & Jakie Fagan.  Devoted employees: Adam & Eric Grenning-Long and Morgan Vey-Petten. Ken’s absence will be noticed among the agricultural communities of Newfoundland and the Maritimes.  His love and passion for farming gave him deep satisfaction and contentment. According to COVID restrictions, visitation will be in Hickey’s Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 2 PM – 5 PM, Monday, August 2, 2021 from 2 PM – 5 PM. Funeral service will take place in Hickey’s Funeral Home Chapel, Kelligrews on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 11 AM by invitation only.
