Obituary of Stewart West

Stewart Arthur West passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, Stew West, as he was known.  He is predeceased by his wife Gloria 2010, son-in-law AJ Winters 2018, mother Roberta West 2019 and father Arthur West. Stew leaves behind to mourn; son Stew Jr (Theresa), daughters Roberta (Rodger) and Michelle (AJ d. 2018), as well as his grandchildren: Terri (Philip) Johnathan (Jennifer), Denise, Brad, Alicia (David), Tyler, Danika, Stewart, Christopher, and Alexander, great grandchildren, Nathan, Arianna, Leena, Noah, Charlie, Ariella, Bella, Landon, Ethan, Chase, Jax.  Also left to mourn are his brothers Dave (Linda), Steve (Darlene), sisters Linda (Donnie d. 2021) and Sandra (Brian) as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Stew will be missed by those who loved him, but take great comfort in knowing he is finally with his one true love, his wife, Gloria.  As per Stew’s wishes, he has been cremated and a funeral service took place on Aug. 5, 2021 in Westville, NS.  Stew’s remains will ultimately lie with Gloria at St. Thomas of Villanova Cemetery, Conception Bay South, NL. Burial service will take place on Mon. Aug. 9 at 12:00pm.  Special thanks to Dave and Linda for taking such good care of Stew in his final years.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
