Sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She was a not only an awesome friend to mom over the years but I am sure a friend to whoever she met. I remember the times at Henders camping for the weekend’s, our son Michael got to know Ms. Cole and received an invite for breakfast. Well he was so excited and being 8 at the time couldn’t wait. Mary told him told don’t show up until 9 because she wanted to sleep in . Well, needless to say the next morning he would keep asking what time it was because he couldn’t wait to go up over the hill for breakfast with Mary. Our memories of Mary are fond ones, even as she got older she had attitude of of someone so much younger, full of live, laughter and love! And yes you never knew what she was going to say next, always some sort of funny remark. Your mom is now your guardian angel and will be looking down and checking in periodically to make sure all is well. She will always live in in your hearts and the memories will help ease the pain and sorrow. God Bless. Valarie, Mike & Michael

I was so surprised and saddened to hear of your mom’s passing. Our families have known each other for too many years to count. I remember when I was planning mom’s 70th surprise birthday party. I was trying to figure out how I was going to get her there. I called Mary because I knew she would think of something and she did. She told mom she was going to a Tupperware party. Mom was so happy thinking she was going to get her bread pan replaced. Needless to say mom sure was surprised. Mary had such a great sense of humour and a kind heart. She will surely be missed. My mother also thought the world of my wife, her very special daughter-in-law, Paulette Cole. Mom loved spending time with us at our trailer and told us on a number of occasions it was her favourite place to be. We all enjoyed a fierce game of scat and nice warm camp fire together. There was always a lobster for her and Paulette on Mother’s Day. She always looked forward to our times together and so did we. I am glad she’s at peace and have joined my father. We shared a special good-bye and I told her I loved her. I move on and look forward to continuing my maxing life with my beautiful family, Paulette, Justin, TL, Lacey and Bryan. I’m truly blessed.
