Kelly Family,
I only knew Mr. Kelly for a brief period of time when he and Mr. Norm Simpson coached the C.B.S. Batam All Star team in the mid to late 70’s.
I’m not sure how I made the team but I did. I guess they saw a need for something in a young teenage boy. I later went on to serve 34 years in the military. Dad always spoke highly of you.
Thank-you for your leadership coach! God bless!

Thinking of you all in the passing of your wonderful Dad, another family loss so soon after your Mom. They were a lifelong part of Cherry Lane and in friendship with my Dawe family. Your Dad was most welcoming to Maurice and our children through church and neighborhood walks. He was a true gentleman. Together they set the best of example for happy family life and kindness to others. May your own countless memories bring you smiles and keep you close.

Arnold, Sean and all of the Kelly Family. Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your father. I happened to be in Gander with a number of my buddies from C.B.S. when we heard the news. The genuine respect they showed as they talked about the things he had done for them and the community was as great a tribute as any person could ask for. He was truly a man who shared a person's most valuable possession with others, his time. The phrase that came to my mind was, "A Life Well Lived." I hope these memories and the support of family and friends will help you through this difficult time.

Please accept my Deepest Sympathies on the Passing of Your Dad. As you all are aware we go way back from the times in the rink in the winter and on the ball field in the summer. There are many of stories we can tell and He always took care of us no matter where he travelled,
He will be missed by many.

To all of Gerry's family we were very saddened to hear this news today about Gerry. He was a true gentleman that loved his family and a devout Christian. He was always there at flower service and we would have a chat and all the volunteer hours he spent his time at was exceptional. It won't be the same buying our poppies from anyone else. Gerry lived his life the way all of us should live ours with kindness and caring. May Gerry rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to the entrie Kelly family. I met Gerry when I was a young girl when my Dad would do plumbing repairs for the Tobin and Kelly families. Once I began working at St. Thomas of Villanova Parish (35 years) I got to know Gerry more. Gerry volunteered with Parish Bingos, Fall Fairs, Garden Parties, was an Usher, served on the Cemetery Committee, was a collection counter, a member of the Properties & Finance Committee for several years. I had the pleasure of working with Gerry on the Monument of Honour committee and we sometimes would drive to meetings together, mainly when the meetings were at night. Gerry would drop into the parish office when out for his walk just to say good morning and have a quick chat. He never forgot my daughter Emily's birthday, he would always extend birthday greetings to her, their birthdays were only a day apart. Gerry was a true gentelman, I know you are at peace now reunited with Angela. I will miss you. Rest in Peace Gerry.

My condolences go out Paul & Kristen and all of Gerry's family. Gerry was part of the backbone of our community and we all feel a great loss. Personally I will miss him in so many ways at the legion. He was an active member right up till he couldn't do any more and then he still came for coffee mornings. He was such a great support when I was president and always came into my office for a private chat and to offer words of encouragement while he munched red suckers from my sucker dish. He was one of the reasons I didn't give up when the going got rough. I am happy he is no longer in pain but he leaves a great void and I will miss him terribly.
