Obituary of Emma Coates nee Jacobs

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of devoted wife to Winston Coates, mother of Glen (Janice), Gary (Karen) and Goldie. Loving Grandmother to Thomas, Leah, Zachary, Cameron, Jackson and Taylor. Left with wonderful memories are her sisters and brothers, Ann, Mary, Joan (Stewart), Maude (Thomas), Doris (Ray), Alma, Harry (Deane), Audrey (Maxwell), Myrtle (Hardy), Lindsey (Karen), Doreen (Maxwell), Bernice, Mona (Claudius). Also leaving to mourn many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Emma was predeceased by her daughter Holly, parents Llewellyn and Dorothy Jacobs, brother Geoffrey, son in law Rick Wilson and brothers in law Rod Coffin, Calvin Trickett, and Fred Brown. Deep felt appreciation to Aunt Alma for her continued loving care and support. As hard as this was, it would have been much more difficult without her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday 2 - 4pm and 7 - 9pm and Sunday 2 - 4pm and 7 - 9pm. Funeral services at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Upper Gullies on Monday February 25th, 2:30pm. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Upper Gullies.
