It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of a loving, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in – law, and uncle, Lou Murphy, on October 3th, 2021, age 67 years, originally from Long Harbour.  Predeceased by his parents: Lawrence and Rosella Murphy, parents-in-law, Thomas and Johanna Cooper, sister: Angela Hynes (Murphy), brother; Dennis Murphy, brother-in-law:  John Edmunds. Leaving to mourn with loving and fond memories, his wife of 45 years: Donna, his precious sons: Jason (Kim), Chad ( Terrilynn), Jordan ( Laura), precious grandchildren: McKenna, Coby, Jayden, Karlee, Sawyer and Jesse, brothers and sisters: Robert (Donna) , John (Mary Ann), Larry (Angela), Michael (Eileen), Laura (Gerard), brothers and sisters-in-law: Brian ( Carla ) Cooper, Cora Edmunds, Colleen ( Clarence) Power, Wade Cooper , Roderick Cooper, Eliot (Kim) Cooper, special mention to Dennis and Wanda O’Reilly. Also, a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation in Hickey’s Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Wednesday, October 6^th, 2021, from 11AM – 2:30 PM.
