To Adas’ family,
I had the pleasure of meeting Ada when treating her during voice therapy at the Miller Centre. Ada was a tough cookie, who worked very hard, and always wanted a laugh.
She will be missed!
Sincerest condolences to you and your family. She was an incredible, beautiful lady. You are to be commended for the love, care and attention, you constantly showed towards your Mom, and Gerry. May your wonderful memories comfort you in the most difficult time.
I came to know Ada through the cooking program at the community room at Sobeys in Long Pond. She had a personality you were immediately drawn to and she was such a pleasure to converse with. While she did not suffer fools whatsoever, she was always still an utter pleasure to be around. Even when I stopped going to the community room, no matter where or when I would run into Ada she always greeted me warmly and we would just pick up where we left off.
Sam, this is a real loss for you. But I know all your memories are sound and I genuinely pray they will sustain you.

Samantha, as I type this message to you tears are falling profusely down my cheeks. I am so saddened to read that your so wonderful mother has passed away.
Ada was a great friend to me many years ago when we figure skated, went to competitions and to St. Andrews, N B. And then years later she sold me furniture for my new home and I would occasionally see her and Gerry at the CLB roller skating.
I have often thought during the past year that I would get a good time to visit her at St. Lukes but sadly i was taken up with visting my brother who is in a long term nursing facility here in St. Johns and also looking after my husbsnd who is battling an illness also.
Samantha, please know that I grieve with you on the loss of your Mom.
Sam, I am so very sorry for your loss and your families loss! You Mom was a beautiful lady with a heart of gold! I cherish the couple of years that we were next store neighbour’s on Shetland Place! Over the years we would run in to each other from time to time! And pick up where we left off in conversation! Rest In Peace Ada! Gods speed!
