Eileen Jordan (nee Power) formerly of Tors Cove

1932-2021

Passed peacefully away on October 26^th, 2021, age 88 years.  Predeceased by husband: Jerome (1997) and daughter Pamela (1970). Leaving to mourn sons: Jerry (Darlene), David (Marina),Donny (Ann Marie), Okie (Enid), Terry, Eddie (Cindy), Darrell (Tamara), daughters: Shirley (Wesley), Bernadette (Wayne), Lorraine (Art), Cathy (Gord), Michelle (Donny), Darlene (Tim), Kim (Shawn), 35 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, special sister Rose "and loving care giver Agnes Nugent". Also a large circle of other family and friends. Visitation will be in Hickey’s Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday, October 28^th, 2021 from 11AM – 3 PM.  A private funeral service is planned. Internment in St. Edward’s Cemetery, Kelligrews. “Eileen had an insatiable need to be needed. She would stop everything to pick up a child or 6 from school often making multiple trips. She loved you more than anyone ever could and made sure you felt it. She never wanted to make a big deal about her birthday but had the best time when you did. She felt every ounce of your pain and would give everything to make it feel better. She shared in all your good times sometimes being more excited than you. She was our heart, our soul, our rock. There's 13 others that have similar stories and feel the same way”.
