I wish I was able to be there during Karen’s wake.
Deepest condolences and love. It has been a long journey for everyone and especially Karen!
She fought a good fight, she finished the course and her life on earth is over.
Very sad for those who are left behind with the missing link. Things will NEVER be the same.
However, we have comfort in knowing heaven is a wonderful place and we hope to see her there someday!
God says in his word: “He will send his angels to watch over you”. That is very comforting and in our weakness,
we can look to him for strength to go on every single day.

The last time I saw Karen was on the trussel at the end of Pond Road a few years back. Her Brother Joe was back home as well. She was there with her husband and others. It was a real treat for me to meet up with them all. We all watched in amazement as an Osprey dive into the water in front of us to capture a seatrout and then flew off clutching it's successful capture. So saddened to see this. Karen was one of the most quiet and caring people that I grew up around. Rest in peace beautiful soul. To the entire family, please accept our heartfelt condolences from here in Alberta.
