Dearest Betty and all family members,
It is with a heavy heart that I send our condolences. It is 50 years to this day that Clarence gave toast to me at our wedding, plus a wonderful tribute to mom and dad, which i have always treasured.
Always a gentleman, with a warm and caring heart, that has left a void that will never be filled.
All family members are very sad from Clarence demise. The loss of your husband, Betty, dear father, brother, caring uncle & friend will always be missed but never forgotten.
Thinking of you all,

Betty and Family;
It is with a deep sense of sadness that I've heard of the the passing of Clarence. Although I've had not had any contact with Clarence for many years, due to our being away for so long, I certainly remember the years long gone by when we would along with Ralph Ledrew and the rest of our gang go to Indian Bay for ice fishing excursions and lots of fun and happy memories. I knew that Clarence had not been well for some time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, as well as our deepest condolences during this very sad time. We are thinking of you, and may God give you the strength to endure the coming days and weeks. May in rest in peace until we all meet again.

Betty and Family, please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Clarence. We met Clarence and Betty around 1987 and have cherished their friendship since that time. I (Cliff) looked forward to dropping in to visit Clarence at the plaza many evenings for a yarn on the way home, and both of us ended up being too late for supper. Our motorcycle trips were memorable, especially the trip to Mt. Washington, New Hampshire. Clarence was a visionary, a leader, hard working, honest and generous, super proud of his family, and a man that I was very proud to call my friend. God Bless you all during this difficult time, you are in our thoughts and prayers

Please accept Rose’s and mine condolences on the passing of your dad Clarence. Your dad was a wonderful man as I am sure you have heard many times. To me, he was one of my early mentors when I was beginning my journey into business for the first time. He was always willing to listen but never preachy. He had a way of talking with you and made you think about the bigger picture. Anyone who met Clarence knew that it was his people skills that most contributed to his own success in business. Most important of all your dad was a great family man. Through his family he has left a lasting legacy.

It is with profound sadness that I read of yours dad’s passing this morning. I know he was very dear to you and your hearts are broken.
I remember him as personable, quiet and dignified……… just a good and decent person. I know you and your family will miss him dearly.
However, the lessons your dad taught you and the love and guidance he gave you all in your personal lives and professional endeavours………. All those things will live on , in you and your siblings, children and grandchildren.
Reading the tributes, it is apparent that his impact on his community, along the shore he lived and loved , will forever be a part of it’s fabric.

My deepest sympathy to the Morgan family.. Clarence was a true gentleman and possessed the upmost respect in our community. I fondly remember a 3 generation boys ice fishing trip to Quinn lake, that kickstarted with a conference call at Villa nova in the board room... It was my oldest first conference call that involved ice-cream,pop and chips which he latter quizzed me on if all my mtg's unfolded that way..... To which I responded 'I wish'.. We latter enjoyed homemade ice cream made at the camp....
I know he has struggled hard this past couple of years as Dad has called and updated me numerous times after his visits. Trust he may now be at rest...

Aunt Betty, Allison, Grant, Jacqui, Christine & Families; Aunt Joan, Aunt Regina, Mom, Aunt Donna, Suzanne & Families; Aunt Louise and Aunt Eva…& the Entire Morgan Clan:
We are deeply saddened by the loss of “Uncle Clarence.” He was truly exemplary in the way he chose to operate throughout his life. He had an incredible work ethic and was hugely successful, without a pretentious bone in his body. Truly admirable. Respectful of all humans. He welcomed EVERYone.
He spoke proudly of his children and grandchildren & showed immense, genuine interest in all of us, his extended family.
While he seemed to avoid the limelight personally, he showed great kindness, under the radar, and encouraged all of us to shine. I pleasantly recall him attending Jackson’s Grade Six Graduation; I didn’t imagine he’d have time, given his myriad of responsibilities & commitments. Uncle Clarence was so proud of him and encouraged his musical talent, a memory I will hold dear. As his godfather, Uncle Clarence always acknowledged him, as he did my brother, Clint also, another of his god-children who he had visited in Toronto on numerous occasions.
He embraced all of us, his extended family, on regular occasions. We looked forward to those times with him as he had so many who loved and wanted to spend time with him. He shared himself, graciously. My three boys have fond memories of connecting with him on Annual Bonfire Nights, Allison’s Tibb’s Eve (Ugly Sweater) Gathering, Cousin Heidi’s Christmas Get-Together and Boxing Day Celebrations at Mom’s…those were regular family catch-up times which we treasured immensely over the years. My boys happily anticipated these events to enjoy time with their great, big family and shared a conversation they had had with Uncle Clarence, afterwards.
He was full of encouragement and truly listened. He made each of us feel as if we were the most important person in the whole wide world when we had an opportunity to engage with him. He was proud of the accomplishments & successes of his children and grandchildren and god-children and that same pride seemed to trickle down to his nieces, nephews and their offspring.
I specifically remember his presence at Mom’s 75th Birthday Celebration, especially as he danced with his Baby Sister, Donna-Lee (while his son, Grant, played the music:-) They had developed an incredibly close bond; it was plain to see how much he loved her. That was another day I will treasure…
And, he was an amazing storyteller…so funny…my favourite was a time when he was rushing to drive Jennifer to music lessons…he was pressed for time & didn’t want her to be late…she tried to tell him but he was in too big of a hurry. When they arrived, just in time, she was finally able to tell him that music was canceled for today…”Why didn’t you tell me…?”…”I tried to, Pop, but you were in too big of a hurry!” I recall his big laugh as he shared that story…& many others…
Thinking of all his family, immediate and extended, during this time of profound loss. He has contributed and touched more humans, big & small, than we will ever know. May we all find our own sources of comfort from his love, during the next chapters without him…he will be greatly missed…

Dear Betty and all the Family. Ann and I were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Clarence, we so valued his friendship for the past 50 plus years, and have wonderful memories of time spent with your family. The annual Bonfire get together at your place was a big part of our own Children's memories of this wonderful kind and generous Gentleman. His Contribution to the business Life in this Province will be felt for years to come and in many respects he was a visionary and was a leader in so many positive ventures. I would be remiss if I did not add the fun we had together on the Bay on a few occasions and on a couple of fishing trips where time seemed to stand still. A few lines from the great Poet Robbie Burns on the death of his friend best describes Clarence to us. '' An honest Man lies here at rest, the friend of Man, the friend of truth. The friend of age, the guide of youth.. Few hearts like his, with virtue warm'd, few heads with knowledge so informed. If there is another world, he lives in bliss, if there is not, he made the best of this''. Our deepest Condolences and God Bless.

Dear Betty, Derek and I were shocked and saddened when we heard over the radio this morning that Clarence had passed. We just sat in our car for a while, dazed.
Apart from a sharp businessman, Clarence was an honest and kind family man, who put his family first. He always greeted us with a warm smile, and was quick to ask about our family. A man of fine character indeed.
Please accept our most sincere condolences, and may all of your wonderful memories bring you comfort during this sad time.
Sincerely and with much love,
Derek and Carolyn

Betty, Jacqui, Christine, Grant and Allison, oh my what can I say. After working for the family for over 20 years in a very close office with Jacqui and Clarence(Mr. Morgan)(he used to get mad with me calling him that) my heart aches for the loss of a dear friend, family member and employer. To you the family, please know that my family will remember him the rest of our lives, he watched my children grow into very strong young men, who were happy to have known him. Clarence and I have had many's a chat in the office, he was someone who you could confide in and made you feel so comfortable in his presence. We have many memories that we will hold dear to our hearts. Sending so much love and to all the family, I know he was very proud of you all. If I could give you all a great big hug right now I would. Will be thinking of you all during this most difficult time, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
