Obituary of Owen Pike

Due to a winter storm warning, the funeral service for the late Owen Pike will be cancelled for Tuesday, January 4th, 2022 at 11 am, it will take place Wednesday, January 5th, 2022 at 11 am.

Owen Fortune Pike

Passed away suddenly January 1st, 2022 at Pleasant View Towers at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by his parents: Tolbert and Mary Veronica Pike and son in law: Terry Fillier. Leaving to mourn his loving wife: Rosena (LeRiche) of 57 years, daughters: Joan Fillier (Allen), Karen Rideout (Dave), grandchildren: Julian Fillier (Samantha) and Alyssa Rideout (Brent Eason).  Also leaving to mourn a large circle of family and friends. Owen was born in St. David's, NL and married the love of his life Rosena.  Together they lived in Seal Cove, CBS for over 36 years where Owen worked at  Mac Mix as a heavy equipment mechanic. Owen left a special mark on anyone who he crossed paths with. The family would like to thank the staff Pleasant View Towers as well as extended family and friends for their support and encouragement. Visitation will be in Hickey’s Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Sunday January 2nd, 2022  from 3 PM – 7 PM. Funeral service will take place in Hickey’s Memorial Chapel, Kelligrews  on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022 at 11 AM. Inurnment to follow. According to provincial regulations, COVID passports and identification are required for guest visitation and funeral service.
