Obituary of Madelyn Mary Dyer nee Penney

Dyer, Madelyn Mary (nee Penney) of Conception Bay South, formerly of Bell Island. Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on March 18, 2013, aged 92 years. Predeceased by her parents, Molly and Jack Penney, and her husband, Gerald Dyer. Leaving to mourn her son Terry and his wife Carmel, with whom she resided, and their children Daniel (Tara) and Mollie; her daughter Geraldine and her children Gerry, Julie, and Rosalie; sister in-law Evelyn Bown; brother-in-law Howard (Joan) and many relatives, friends, former co-workers and former students from St. Cecilia's and St. Kevin's (Bell Island), Holy Cross Elementary (Georgetown, ON),and Holy Spirit (Manuels). Special thanks to Dr. Gail Garber, Samantha, Sharon and Bonnie at Dove Home Care, and the staff of St. Patrick's Mercy Home for your help during this difficult time. Cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving friends and relatives at the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Wednesday from 7 - 9 pm and Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 9:30 am from St. Edward's Church, Kelligrews. Interment to follow at a later date.
