We all know someone who is larger than life. A special person who’s incredible personality, sense of humor, love of family, and love of friends was so obvious to anyone the moment they entered the room. That was my Uncle Bob!
You always knew when Uncle Bob was around. All you had to do was listen to everyone’s laughter and see how everyone around just seemed to feel better and happier.
As wonderful an uncle that Bob Slaney was, he seemed to be an even better husband and father. He beamed in the presence of his beloved Joan who he adored, and always spoke with such pride and joy of his love for his children (my cousins)
To my dear Aunt Joan and to my cousins Vaughn, John, Betty, Annette, and Craig I send my most heartfelt condolences on a loss so profound in tribute to a man that is so irreplaceable.
Rest In Peace Uncle Bob. My life was made richer because you were a part of it, and I will miss you greatly.
