Eldred and I are so saddened to hear of Keith’s passing. We will remember him from the many times he greeted us at his office. One time I remember, when I asked for Claude, he jokingly told me, Claude doesn’t work here anymore. He was such a gentleman with an unique personality. We hope your memories and the times you shared together will help you through this difficult time. God Bless.

I was shocked and very saddened when Una called to tell us of Keith’s passing. You will miss him greatly. I moved away from home in Kelligrews when Keith was a young boy, but not so far that I couldn’t watch him grow into a bright, competent, friendly, respected and successful man. Both of you have a very strong model to follow. The tributes to Keith show this and you also have Barry and Una and especially your mother, close by for support at this difficult time.
I have many fond memories of Keith and I have been sadly revisiting them these last few days. These few words are to let you know that you are not alone in feeling Keith’s loss.
God Bless

It's very sad to hear of Keith's passing. I haven't seen Keith in a very long time, but one of my fondest memories is when he took me and my brother (Greg) and sister (Gina) along with Steve and Rick fly fishing. We caught so many fish and Keith showed us how to kill the fish and thread them onto a stick. We all felt so proud having our own stick of fish. Then Nanny Tilley cleaned them up and fried them up with eggs for breakfast - so good. I remember Keith always being kind and funny. My condolences to his children, friends, and other family.

One of the many times out on the water with Keith and Uncle Wes. It was with the two of them that I caught my very first cod and I remember once Keith had to cut his line cause it was either a shark or a tuna that he caught and his rod would’ve snapped in half otherwise! Next fishing season certainly won’t be the same without Keith.

The dredded phone call, of Keith's passing, came far sooner then expected filling me with sadness. Most of my childhood vacations were in Kelligrews enjoying time with Keith's older siblings, my cousins. What fun we had! I remember when Keith came into this world as a lovable welcomed baby - the 5th in the family after: Lorraine , Una, Boyde, and Barry. ( Followed by Jeff, my ring bearer at my wedding- now deceased)
Thankfully, my journey is filled with many happy memories.
Condolences are sent to every one with a heavy heart.
Sincerely,
Louisa and Sterling

To Charlene, Steve, The Tilley Families and Sheila,
To say we’re shocked and saddened to hear of Keith’s passing is an understatement. It was only about a week ago that Keith was sending condolences to our family after we lost a loved one, how suddenly things can change. Where do we start, Keith was an absolute salt of the earth, give you the shirt off his back kind of man. He was a longtime friend of the family, business acquaintance, and customer of ours who will be greatly missed by us all. It was always so nice to see him come through the door of the shop. It was never an “in and out” visit; Keith would come in and get what he needed and then the chats and laughs would start. The topics of conversation were always about his family or ours, or what his plans were that day, or about heading up to the cabin but guaranteed it always ended in talks about fishing. He certainly loved to go fishing. There were days when he was our first customer and we’d always say “Keith, why are you on the go so early today my son?” He would tell us that he was up early and in to work in order to get everything done so he could go try for a trout and enjoy the rest of the day. Then it never failed, he would always bring Mom (Ruth) in a feed whenever he caught a few extra because he knew how much she loved trout. The kindness that he showed our family will never be forgotten, he was certainly a very gentle soul and will be greatly missed. As we reflect on our special memories of Keith and the good times we shared, we hope that all of the memories that each of you hold dear help bring you peace and comfort in the days ahead. Our deepest sympathies and condolences to you all.
