Passed away peacefully on February 22, 2022 in her 80^th year. Predeceased by her son: Dennis, her mother and father: Jean and West, brothers: Doug, Sid, sister: Lorraine, sister-in-law: Linda, brother-in-law: Winston and other members of the Cox and Weir families. Geraldine was a founder, along with her husband Jim of Weir’s Construction. In addition to a business lady, Geraldine was an exceptional family lady who adored her family and attended to everyone needs. She was the referee and the glue that kept things running. Left with fond and loving memories her loving husband Jim, sons: Jim Jr. (Karen), Bill (Deann), daughter-in-law: Sharon, precious grandchildren: Jennifer (Kyle), Jason, Janelle (Matthew), Jeannie, Johnathan, Jessica, Joshua, great-grandchildren: Kendall, Kennedy, Jemma, Jaylah, Jayda, Jaxon, brothers: Colin (Cora), Bill, sisters-in-law: Edith, Barb (Robert), Ruby Cox. Also, Geraldine is survived by the management, staff, employees of Weir’s Construction and Cabot Ready Mix. A special thanks you to the nursing and medical staff of 4SA, Health Sciences Centre. Thank you to a special caretaker Yolanda for all you have done over the past year. According to COVID restrictions, visitation will be in Hickey’s Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday, February 24^th, 2022 from 3 pm – 7 pm, Friday, February 25^th, 2022 from 12 pm – 4 pm. Funeral service in All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap on Saturday, February 26^th, 2022 at 2 pm. Interment in All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Dunn’s Hill Road, Foxtrap. Vaccination Passport and Identification are required to attend the funeral service. Flowers accepted or donations may be made in Geraldine’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society.
