Obituary of Charles Dowden

Dowden, Charles It is with great sadness that the family of Charles Dowden announce his peaceful passing after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, March 29, 2013. Predeceased by his wife Glenda 2007. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Rodney (Donna), daughters Roxanne, Renee (Roger) and Rachel (Tom). Charles was the adored grandfather of grandchildren Joshua, Ryan, Luke, Carly, Keigan and Connor, sisters Hilda Baird and Marjorie Hennessey. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Sunday from 7 - 9 pm, Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. A celebration of his life will take place at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Upper Gullies on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 11 am. Cremation to follow.
